Win the Trip of a Lifetime From Ruby Mountains Heli-Experience
By Submitting the Most Compelling "Why You Love to Ski or Ride" Video

Top video wins 3-day, winter 2014-15 trip with America's most experienced heli-guide, Ruby Founder Joe Royer

A heli-ski or snowboard trip of a lifetime is being given away for winter 2014-15 by Ruby Mountains Heli-Experience (RMH), in northeastern Nevada.

The $4,650, three-day package goes to the most compelling video answering the question "why do you love skiing or riding - and why it is special to you?" View the answers from America's first family of heli-skiing, the Royers, at www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DG08chNKYo. The Royers have owned and operated RMH since opening it in 1977, and, of course, can't win the prize package, which includes: three nights lodging, double occupancy; guide service; ski rental, a guarantee of 20 runs and all meals except dinner on arrival night.

The winner will be announced Jan. 10, 2015. Entries are due before January 1, 2015 and should be submitted to info@helicopterskiing.com or uploaded to www.facebook.com/pages/Ruby-Mountains-Heli-Experience/131931547053?ref=ts.

An acclaimed paradise for backcountry skiers and snowboarders drawn to its varied and virtually untracked terrain, the Ruby Mountain Range is remote, unpopulated and hundreds of miles from the nearest chairlift.  So, there are no locals calling in sick on powder days and heading to these slopes. For RMH patrons, a maximum of 16 per day, this means fresh tracks on every run - every day. Check out photos at: https://helicopterskiing.com/gallery/action-photography

Joe Royer has been an active heli-guide for the past 38 years, skiing daily with his guests, and behind the scenes he continues to play significant a role in the Heli-Ski U.S. Association, which he co-founded and has often led as president. Joe began his snow sports career as a ski patroller in 1971 at Utah's Snowbird ski area and in 1977 moved on to found RMH. Joe is certified by the American Mountain Guides Association, has decades of experience with the most authoritative snow-science groups and the most winter guiding experience in the Ruby Mountains than anyone else, period.

"The greatest reward is being able to provide a backcountry experience to our guests and hear them say, "That's the best day of skiing in my life!" notes Royer, who has guided skiers and snowboarders down tens-of-millions of vertical feet.

The prize is not redeemable for cash, exchangeable, or transferable. All taxes on prizes, including but not limited to Federal, State and local income and sales taxes, are the responsibility of the winner.
